Dog Adoption
Library
In this project I was asked to design a temporary pop up shelter that could serve as a library of any kind. I chose to educate people on dogs specifically; how to breed them, groom them and care for their well being. The shelter also had an event weekly where it would display a certain breed of puppy up for adoption or a dog in need of rescue. All of these features were carefully thought of and integrated into the design.

The site I chose was a local park because I thought it would be the perfect place to match families with a dog companion.
Shown above is a mapping of the routes usually taken and the local wildlife.

This image shows the location of my site in relation to the surrounding buildings.

My design process flowed mainly around the Winter Gardens in Sheffield. At first i wanted it to look like a dog house, but was inspired by the arches in the winter gardens so I added them to my design at varying heights.
